Logic Studio (Pro 8) Upgrade/Recover in OS X (10.7.1)

I am running Mac OS X V 10.7.1 on an iMac (3.06 Ghz Intel Core 2 Duo). I primarly record in Garageband and since my version of Logic Studio (Logic Pro 8) was no longer supported under this OS I removed it from my computer.

Now, I have lost many of the loops and instruments in my recorded Garageband songs.

I can not re-install Logic, I am able to install the Logic 9 upgrade if I no longer has Logic 8 on my computer? Is there any other way to just recover the Audio Content and Jam Pack from Logic 8 without purchasing Logic 9 Studio?

Although, I do have my song files on a backup I do not have everything else on my hard drive (applications) backed up. Lesson learned.
